     Anabel Nájera-López is a Mexican-American artist based in Aarhus, Denmark. She received her BFA in Studio Art with double emphasis in Painting and Ceramics at The University of Texas at El Paso, USA. Throughout her career as an undergraduate, she received numerous awards and scholarships such as the Tom Lea Purchase Award for Best Drawing/Best Painting, the Catherine Crowell Belk Art Scholarship, as well as graduating with an Outstanding Senior: 3D Studio Award.               

 

Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally. Among multiple exhibitions, she was selected for a solo exhibition at the El Paso Museum of Art and took part in two group exhibitions while attending an international residency in Leipzig, Germany. Recently she has participated in serval exhibitions in Aarhus, amongst others at AROS Art Museum.
