The 1-day ceramic course is the perfect opportunity for you to be present in the moment, have fun and experience something new.
You do not need to have a background in ceramics to try it out.
Clay is an enchanting, forgiving and manageable material. The process welcomes mistakes as a part of learning and encourages you to embrace imperfections. Molding clay can also be relaxing, as the tactile experience requires your focus and calms the mind from external factors.
In this course, you will learn two hand building techniques with step by step demonstrations and personal assistance in between. I will also share with you my tips and tricks acquired through-out years of practice. This will facilitate learning and make your experience more enjoyable. After doing the first pieces together, you will have extra time to create another piece in a more independent way. Use the technique you felt most comfortable with to bring to life your vision. Add your own touch to give it personality and uniqueness. After the course, I will take care of the drying process, bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing. You will be able to pick up your creations after 4 weeks.
This mini course is great to come with a group of friends, a loved one or by yourself to go on a relaxing creative adventure. Plus, you will get the opportunity to replace the ceramic pieces you made in fourth grade.
Submerge yourself in the experience, enjoy creating with your hands, and acquire a new skill.
