The Intermediate course is designed for those who already have some experience with clay and are ready to deepen their skills, either on the potter’s wheel or through advanced hand-building techniques.

This course focuses on developing your techniques, refining your craftsmanship, and building your artistic voice. You will have the opportunity to work on more complex forms, improve your control of the material, and experiment with decoration and finishing methods.

Depending on your chosen track (potter´s wheel or hand-building), we will explore techniques that allow you to push your practice further:

• Potter´s wheelwill focus on improving centering, creating consistent forms, and exploring more challenging shapes.
• Hand-buildingwill refine techniques with more attention to design, surface, concept, and functionality development.

Alongside technique, we will work with design thinking: how to develop your ideas into finished pieces that reflect your own creative style.

Two additional Open Studio sessionsare included, giving you extra time to practice independently, finish projects, and explore new ideas at your own pace.

By the end of the course you will be better prepared and confident to work independently, whether you want to continue developing at home or at a ceramic studio.
